Expulsion

“Hayley.”

Even though Ciara had expected it, she was still surprised at hearing Scott say the name.

“How?” she asked. “How did she contact them?”

“That’s what I would ask her.”

Scott’s hands clenched at his sides. He turned his gaze to Sewell, who was staring back at him. Out of the three of them, he seemed to be the most shocked to hear that there was a traitor in the pack.

“Take care of her until I get back,” Scott ordered Sewell. And Sewell immediately put away his stupid look, turning into a serious expression.

“Yes, sir,” he answered firmly.

“Scott, I’m coming with you—”

Scott glared at her, and she stopped. “I’m not going to set you up with her, Ciara. Nothing good will happen if you meet her.”

Scott’s words have a point. And Ciara did not find a gap to argue. But she wanted to know how Hayley contacted them.

She knew Hayley hated her, but she didn’t expect Hayley to be that mean.

“I’m going to make sure she can’t mess up again,” Scott growled.

He looked at Ciara one more time,
