43-Cruise Day One

Finch’s POV

“Don’t worry, Dad, we are fine,” Anderson tells me as Ari and I are about to leave for our cruise.

“All decisions are made by...” I wait for them to answer.

“Turk, the Beta is in charge for the next four days. We know and we promise to not interfere,” Carter tells me.

“One thing, can Everly be off duty for a while?” Finley asks. “I really don’t want her on patrol or anything.”

I look at the panic in his eyes at the idea of his mate in danger.

“I can take her off patrol, but son, she is elite. She is amazing, which is why she was on your guard detail to begin with. So, if a fight comes, you best believe that she-wolf is going to be kicking some serious ass,” I tell him. He nods.

Me- Turk.

Turk- Yeah, boss.

Me- Remove Everly from the patrol schedule if she asks why, tell her to ask her mate.

Turk- So, throw Finley under the bus. Can I record the fall out?

Me- I just want a copy but you upload it anywhere.

Turk- No problem, boss.

“Done,” I warn Finley. “Good Luck, son.”
