The Necromancer

Ever since Colin left the estate, Elinor was always looking outside at every window she passed by, she would always turn her head to look, hoping and praying that she would see them finally returning with the twins in his arms.

However, it was only yesterday when they left, but for Elinor, it felt like months had gone by.

"There you are," she heard someone say, she turned from absently staring at the window to look who was it.

Suzanne, in her scarlet dress, was walking towards her. "Tatiana was looking for you," she told her.

The sight of Suzanne reminds Elinor of her position in this estate and in Colin's life. She could not help but compare her dull gray gown to her scarlet one, her messy hair to Sue's blonde hair, not one strand is astray as they all stick to her skull in a tight bun.

"What for?" she asked, turning her head to look outside the window again, watching the golden grains from afar swaying, the surroundings bathed in the afternoon sun.

"She wants you t
