ALPHA RAMSEY'S POV

I kissed her, my body leaped for joy. I had just gotten double relief and happiness. The moments in her arms, when my lips touched hers. It was heavenly.

"If only I could have her to myself without any circumstantial problems or issues," I thought to myself. A thought of Luna Eleanor entered my head and I immediately felt angry and irritated.

I imagined how she must have felt to find out Astra wasn't the perpetrator of what she had accused her of. I knew her pride wouldn't even let her stop by for an apology, but the knowledge of victory was more than satisfying for me, and knowing Astra had been exonerated was peace.

I felt sober about Simon and Vera's death, less for Vera's death because that could have been Astra, and well, she wouldn't have cared to spill the truth.

The reason she had killed Simon still felt vague and it felt as though we were missing an important motive.

The thought of Astra being the one who had died disturbed me for a bit, the courtroom
