133. The right people

[Amor’s POV]

The whole night I taught her the higher skills and even after being that tired, Zeve learned them all quickly.

There were a few techniques she couldn’t understand, and she just asked to repeat them until she did.

Her learning spirit was so cool it lifted my teaching spirit.

I bet she would have kept on practising the new skills if I hadn’t picked her up in my arms and taken her to our sleeping chamber.

“Amor! Let go of me! I can keep going. I am tired, but not that tired…” she uselessly struggled in my arms.

“Yeah. Yeah. I know. I know. Don’t overdo or else your muscles will be sore, then you will have to waste days recovering. Remember, a very important part of sword training is knowing when to stop.”

“Ok, fine. You can put me down. Everyone is looking at us…” she whispered.

“Why do you care about the world? How many times do I need to tell you that the only person you need to care about in this pack is me?”

“Amor!” I kicked the door open of our sleeping chamber
