132. Knight's hierarchy

[Amor’s POV]

While I went through all the reports, Zeve had completed a hundred rounds of swords’ basics with the knight.

She was drenched in sweat from head to toe when she came with the knight.

I gaped at her heaving chest, proud smile and the shirt that stuck to her skin.

Morfan gaped at both of them, panting like crazy with ruffled hairs and completely disoriented clothes.

“What time is it now, Morfan?” I asked.

“Midnight, alpha,” he replied.

I had asked her to do a hundred rounds in the evening when the clouds were greyish red.

Don’t tell me she had been training without a second’s rest.

“You can call it a day, knight,” I said. He bowed.

“Thank you for your great tutoring, Arki. I understand swords a little better now,” Zeve said, looking at the knight with a smile.

Arki?

I, being the alpha, never bothered knowing their names, and she had trained with him once and just look at her talking so informally with him as if they were old friends.
