31. I Was Really Fvcked

April's POV

Conrad let go of me and walked out of the classroom. I was still a bit starstruck, and I could still feel his soft and warm palms on my face.

I waited in the classroom for a while before I walked out; I didn't want to draw any unnecessary attention to myself. It would be terrible if people saw me and the Lycan Prince leaving the class together.

I hurried back to my classroom after I had deduced that the principal did not send for me. It was all a clever ploy made by Conrad so that he could get to see me before he left, and to be honest. I was happy that I got to meet him one more time.

Also, even though I had been shocked to see him, I couldn’t deny that his presence had ensured that I got the justice and revenge I wanted.

On my way back to the class, I saw Lucy walking towards me with a slight skip in her step.

"Well, someone looks happy. I guess the war that we waged against the witch paid off, and we emerged victorious."

I smiled even wider.

"Is it really that obvious?
