Lany suddenly stood up as she came back to her senses and realized that someone might see them in such a position like that. Then Jeric stood up as well and felt a little awkward when their eyes met again.

Lany was about to walk back to the table where they were having a drink when Jeric suddenly grabbed her hand and stopped her from walking away.
