Lany took her cellphone to call Jeric and ask for his permission to go to their abandoned camp. She immediately dialed his number but he didn't answer. She tried again up to two times but still, he didn't answer.
He might be in the middle of a meeting, so she thought of just sending him a message and proceeding with her plan. However, when she was about to leave the house, she was immediately stopped by the two guards, who did not allow her to leave.
