Chapter 33

The muscles of my face started to move as the rays of the sun sneaking through the window landed on my skin.

Even my eyelids fluttered until they opened from being closed. I felt my head hurt. It's the effect of the liquor I drank last night.

I recognized the room I was in. That's why it's familiar because I'm in my condo room.

My throat is dry as I'm trying to swallow some of my expired saliva to wet my throat. I massaged the back of my neck gently. The weight of my body prevented me from getting up so I preferred to stick my back on the linen beneath me. I think today is a tiring day.

I sighed and turned away from the slightly open window. I put my folded hands under my cheek. When I was about to close my eyes, I remembered everything that happened at the bar.

"This is crazy," I said suddenly.

I went up and didn't change my clothes anymore. I was still in my pajamas when I ran out of the room.
