I didn't look back. I couldn't, I couldn't afford to. Immediately I stepped through that door, my feet started pounding on the hard ground, the sound of my feet kissing the floor my only motivation. The room was dark until I burst into another hallway. At the end of the hall were two other doors. Whilst approaching the door, I slowed down, reducing my noise level to zero. Flamed torches lit the narrow hallway, each one a good amount of distance between the other.

The walls were a dull gray. To be honest, they didn't look painted at all. Its surface was rough and if you scratched hard, broken pieces of sand would fall off, but that didn't matter. What mattered was the fact that I recognized this place .

Had I been here before? I couldn't tell. So why did this place look so familiar?

Then it clicked. A lightbulb lit up in my head and I almost clapped out loud. This was the same path I took when I was leaving the dungeons. I was at the end of the hallway now, with both doors by my sides
