Chapter 75

I didn't expect Pierre to be there the next morning when I woke up. I didn't care about that either. I knew that if he had had a choice, he would have stayed. But I knew he was a busy man... and famous. If I stayed there longer, chances are they'd soon find out where I was. I knew he'd been worried about this before, and probably should have been mulling over his visit to me last night, but I enjoyed having him near me again. I missed him so much.

Even though he wasn't physically with me, he arranged for me to spend breakfast thinking about him. He had prepared eggs, bacon, and some pancakes for me. Even he had left everything in the microwave for me to heat up when I woke up, along with a note:

Thanks for the wonderful night. I hope to repeat it when you're on probation. I forgot something?? Oh yes, I love you.
