Chapter 6 - Danone Cup Istanbul Quarter Finals(2)

Helder"s team started the match.

But what is that?

Burak threw the ball to the touchline in the right corner of the opponent"s court, right after the match started.

The opposing team was surprised.

Burak did what the coach wanted.

They wanted to force the opponent into error by making shock presses and quickly win the ball and score a goal. This was their strategy in the first minutes of the match.

Helder"s team would normally play the 3-3-1 tactic.

Goalkeeper: Helder

Defenders: Mert, Yusuf, Kaan

Midfielders: Hakan, Eray, Alp

Forward: Burak

This was their classic tactic.

But this game"s special coach was trying the 2-2-3 tactic for the start of the match. Although this allowed them to multiply in the future, they could leave a gap behind.

That is why Eray had switched to the left forward and Alp to the right at the beginning of the match.

Defender Kaan would play as a defensive midfielder.

"Quickly, all of you run. Press. Do not foul! " said the coach.

A Crown throw was used.

Exactly as expected, the opponent team still could not get over its astonishment.

The coach of the opposing team shouted.

"Don"t lose the ball, don"t risk it. Do not be afraid."

Burak was showing his friends where to press with hand gestures.

Striker and midfield were fully focused.

They had to find a goal as soon as possible.

Kaan went a little further.

They had completely returned to the midfield of 3.

Burak was pressing with his strength to the opponent.

The defenders of the opposing team found the solution by hitting the ball forward.

"They turned out to be too cowardly, too." thought Coach.

The ball came to Mert in defense.

"Now!" cried Helder.

Mert threw the ball towards Alp with all his might.

There were currently 5 people in the rival area.

Alp was tall. Alp lowered the ball to Burak with his head.

"I"m behind you, Burak." Eray said.

He was suddenly behind him from the left side.

Burak threw a heel pass behind him.

The ball was on his left foot.

He was just going to shoot when he was taken by the number 7 player of the opponent behind him.

And he fell to the ground.

The referee blew the whistle.

Helder"s team won a foul.

The place where the foul was made was very close to the penalty area.

The opponent established a 3-man dam.

Left-footed Eray and Kaan, who had many goals from free-kicks before, were at the head of the ball.

They covered their mouths with their hands.

Kaan was grinning.

"Do you want to shoot?"

"It"s not the time to joke, Kaan."

He was going to shoot in Kaan, but he had a very mischievous personality.

"Pretend to shoot and jump over the ball."

"It"s okay," said Eray.

The referee blew the whistle.

Eray got active and pretended to shoot the ball.

The opponent"s dam jumped, thinking that Eray was going to shoot.

Eray jumped off the ball.

The opponent did not expect this.

"Have they never studied us? I use all the free-kicks and corners. How did they really believe that? " Kaan was thinking.

Kaan came, saw the deficit of the dam, took the shot.

Kaan raised his hands as if he had scored a goal.

The ball was still in the air.

Helder knew this too, Kaan was really great at free-kicks

And as expected...

Goooollll….

Gooooooooolllll…

Gooooooooooooollllll...

Kaan had scored a free-kick goal with an incredible shot.

"Great shot."

"The goalkeeper couldn"t even move."

The viewers of the match were surprised by the goal.

Helder"s team got ahead in the second minute of the match with the goal he scored.

Kaan was running to Helder with the joy of the goal.

"This goal was for you, my friend. Thanks to you, we were able to get this far and we are moving forward. "

"Do not relax at the beginning of the game, now we will switch to the other tactic." Helder said.

"Oh, Captain, you"re cold in the game as always." said Kaan.

The coach was relieved after the goal came at the beginning of the match.

Because they adjusted all their tactics according to the goal in the first 5 minutes of the match.

After scoring the goal, they went back to the classic 3-3-1 tactic.

"Now, we have to get stronger, they will attack for a goal." said the coach.

The opposing team was unaware of what kind of trap it had fallen into.

They were defeated by their own tactics.

The opposing team had difficulty attacking the set as they were waiting in defense and scored goals with the balls they won.

The first half ended 1-0 ...
