“Your office has been burglarized again, Mr. Donnelly.” Gina reported to him over the phone.

Disappointment chewed at Shawn’s stomach. This meant only one thing; that Landers was the spy. Sunny’s smart plan involved him making up false information as he did. He didn't even tell Sunny what it was that he was going to say to Landers. He talked about the keys only in the presence of Landers too.

As anger simmered within him, so did concern. Serenity also said there was a disaster at the site. What disaster? His mind was in disarray but he’d trust Serenity to handle the issue with the site. For now, he had to go confirm if Landers was indeed the spy.

For some reason, this was making his heartache. Stepping out of the mansion, he found Landers waiting by his car, the usual respectful smile on his face. Now, Shawn knew that was a malicious one.
