Chapter 57

Jessica was surprised; she hadn't expected to hear those words escape from Justin's lips. All of a sudden, she felt like she had been hit with a thousand bricks. All the things she had said, how much of it had he heard?

Jessica swallowed hard as Justin drew her to his side and repeated his words. "Please stay with me," he said as his eyes roamed over her, his stare carving a hot path down the front of her chest.

She simply nodded her head and sat down beside him. Justin lifted himself up from the bed and leaned his back on the headboard, pulling Jessica even closer to him.

Jessica gulped and shut her eyes momentarily; she dreaded the question she was about to ask but knew she had to ask it. She needed to know just how much of what she said he had heard.

"How long have you been awake?" Jessica said casually, putting on a fake smile even though she was so tense inside.

Justin knew; he knew just why she had asked the question, and he knew what reply to give. "I am just waking up now. I t
