Chloe's POV…

“If you keep acting this way, Ace, she's not going to forgive you. But like f*** why would you do something like that?” I unintentionally shouted at Ace. We're both currently in the restaurant, and he played oblivious to me as he ate quietly. Mrs. Agnes sent us here in an attempt to reconcile with Ariel, but judging from Ace's lackadaisical attitude, I have a feeling Ariel's not going to forgive him; heck. He doesn't even seem remorseful.

“That's not my business. You all are worrying about this matter too much. This is Ariel we're talking about, for fuck’ sake. Give her a day or two, and she'll be back begging me to kiss her. We all know she can't live without me” he said cockily. I almost snarled at him, and, vexed by his refusal to see the seriousness of the matter. Can't he see that Ariel's changed? Why can't he just see that? Or he's trying to be blind to it?
