26| Manipulation

A gasp left her lips as she gazed into the dark orbs. The dark orbs looked familiar, the ones that were similar to the man who was the reason behind her destruction. The orbs that always carried darkness, anger and a sadist glint in them.

But the only difference was that the eyes she was gazing into didn't carry any darkness in them, instead had a peaceful calmness and warm glint in them. They weren't the eyes of her tormentor. No, such emotions can never be there in the eyes of Killian.

The man in front of her was someone else, having the same eyes as Killian and that alone terrified her. She immediately yanked herself away from him, taking a step back in utter fear but her leg twisted and she found herself in his arms again, this time his grip on her tightening protectively.
