LUTHER'S POV

For some seconds, I was silent as I stared at Whitney with a mixture of bemusement and curiosity.

I was bewildered because this was the second time Whitney would be threatening to kill me if I attempt to take Jason since we started talking. Even though I somewhat think it's an empty threat, I must admit that something in me tells me that she was serious.

I recall when my mom and sister came to tell me that they dreamt that Whitney killed me. I also recall when Jaya told me that she had dreamt of me being killed by Whitney several times. I didn't believe any of the dreams and thought that they all conspired and fabricated the dreams to deter me from coming to Nashville.

However, when I dreamt that Whitney killed me the first day I came to Nashville, I must say that I became troubled. However, the thought of going back to Montgomery without Jason and having to wait for Jaya to give me a son that might never come was driving me crazy and was unbearable hence
