41. Finding Sorana

I open my eyes slowly , my vision is blurred at first but after I try to adjust my sight to the environment, it clears off and I am able to see clearly. I’m inside my room, my head is spinning as I try to stand up. Jared uses his hand to hold my head as I sit up on the bed.

“What happened to me?” I ask him.

“You went blank after winning the duel.” He responds proudly.

“I won?” I ask him. Then I remember how everything happened and a smile curve at the corners of my lips.

“I won!” I repeat excitedly.

I hug him tightly while he wraps his hands around my waist. I can’t believe that I actually passed the test and no sooner than later, I’ll find my wolf.

“What about finding my wolf?”

“I’ve thought about and I think that you should go through the process if you are still strong enough to make it. It’s better to get it done once and for all so that you’ll be relieved of the pains altogether.”
