Chapter 26 Upset With Her Privileges

Upon hearing Melody's words and receiving the slap, Talia lost it. Color drained from her face.

Despite that, she sneered coldly, "That old bastard is going to die anyway, so it doesn't matter if he acknowledges our marriage or not. At the end of the day, I'm still going to marry Chris and become Mrs. Bolton!"

Melody grinned disdainfully. "Oh really, now? I didn't think you'd care so much about the man and the title I threw away."

With that, she turned around and started walking away.

Talia, however, couldn't give it a rest and blocked her path.

"Melody Nolan!" she hissed. "You better stay far away from Christopher. You may have married him before, but he has never loved you for even a single second!"

Melody didn't seem bothered at all. She raised her eyebrow. "Christopher probably hasn't seen this side of you, huh? I really hope he takes a good look at the ugliness in your heart."

"I'd like to see you try!"
