Chapter 151

Training today was worse than yesterday and Heyli could tell by the burning of her thighs.

They ran around the perimeter for close to two hours and anyone who dropped would have their names at the bottom of the scoreboard until someone replaced them.

About four people had fallen and Heyli felt like she would be the next.

"I'm so tired, Kay," Heyli huffed out as she jogged with the last of her strength. "Is this how you guys run?"

Kayla, who was running directly in front of Heyli, turned for a bit to look at Heyli's sweaty face. "When it's Laura? Yes. I told you she's really mean,"

Heyli was so busy listening to Kayla that she didn't see the stone before her. Her feet hit the stone and she fell to the ground with a grunt.

"You're out, Heyli!" The unmistakably recognizable voice belonging to Laura was heard. Heyli staggered to her feet and hissed in annoyance before leaving the line and going to take a seat on the stone chair at the far end of the perimet
