Chapter 84

As soon as Alex took his last sip from his cup, he dumped it on the table and slapped the newspaper on the wooden table before leaving his seat. One of the spinsters who had been eating and watching him immediately waved as he walked past her but that's none of his business. He gave her a quick, distracted nod as he entered the inn.

"He's so rude." The lady said with a look of disgust as she talked to her friend.

Alex slowed down once he saw that Zeus had stopped in front of the counter and was talking to the receptionist. Acting like he was just looking around, he focused his attention on a painting of the moon on his other end and once he saw that Zeus already left the counter, he began his movement again.

Climbing up the stairs, he noticed that the inn was quiet. A lot of people had gone into their rooms and were preparing and one of the ladies around had nearly bumped into him as she rushed out of her room with a dress.

"I'm sorry!" She exclaimed, eyes bright
