The moment she saw him, she felt her blood freeze.

She hadn't recognized him at first till she looked deep. He had changed a lot. He was not dressed in tattered, washed clothing and that was when she realized that Daniel and Ciara were indeed hiding him away from her.

His hair had been styled to fall around his face and his back. His tuxedo was the cleanest of all she had seen and his eyes, those blue eyes that set her soul on fire were staring at her.

She had quickly turned her face away to avoid being seen but deep down, she felt his eyes burning into her skin. She felt his eyes follow her as she was led to her throne and when she took her seat, she saw a lady with him for the first time.
