Chapter 182: Water

“HERE, drink this,” said Cecile as she gave Francis a cup of tea.

Francis didn’t thank her or such, which was the complete opposite of the attitude he was showing in front of the cameras. Francis was an insensitive, heartless man, and he accepted it himself.

Cecile, on the other hand, wasn't shocked at his attitude as much as Francis expected to. She knew that members of the Wellington family would have the same personality as Wesley—Especially his son.

With that thought in mind, Cecile sat across Francis and spoke.

“Listen up, young man. I don’t know what you’re saying,” Cecile started the conversation, pretending not to know Francis. “I never had experience as a midwife, as you can see—”

“Lying won’t get you anywhere, Cecile. I have evidence that you worked in the Remington Corporation,” Francis interrupted her excuses. He didn’t endure the ride for hours to hear those bullshits.
