25: Far From Over
Towards the start of Summer, school was closing as the students began to clear out and head into the vacation when Carmen met up with Scott at the football field.
"So," she began, "I guess this is it, then..."
Scott's time at North Atlanta High had come to an end as his scholarship admission was nigh.
"You know I'll still be around for like the whole of Summer, so...we can do anything during that time."
"I can think of something..." Carmen responded softly before going on to lock lips with him. "But there's something I have to do first."
Fabzy SamAnd there you have it! It's been a great ride. This marks the end of Rise of The Darkforce, with the characters having been left off at various positions like I don't know if any of you have noticed but Lucas has had a crush on Natasha for quite a while now; the captain has to go through some high class criminal cases; Carmen’s future in law enforcement. All that aside, as you've probably guessed from the final chapter's title —this story is set to continue especially after that discussion involving our three superheroines on the fate of the world. Is there really a prophecy? Was Prometheus telling the truth? And who is this “heir to the gods" that is being spoken of? Quite a lot still left in the air huh? They were watching a large screen which displayed two beeping signals on what appeared to be a detailed 3-D scale of Atlanta City. The signals were represented by colors where one was pink while the other one was green. “You’re doing brilliant, Natasha. You can do it!” Katie said over the mic attached to a computer, sending her signal all the way to the teenage girl speedster who was at that moment hurtling through Atlanta. It was a race between Natasha and Carol as another part of the training they had been doing for Natasha the past six months since she unlocked her powers.
