Chapter Forty
There was an uneven glowing light fluctuating in the Darkness of the abyss.
Deadrei is trying to perform a spell to create an exit portal but to no avail. The pattern she had created seems to be working for few moments but eventually dissipates through time.
She had a lot of cuts now in both of her wrists using her own blood as fuel to the spell, but she always fails every time she tries.
Her frustration began to grow; tears roll down from her eyes.
Deadrei was a strong girl and had endured a lot of hardships when she was training to control her own wolf and practiced magic, under the guidance of her adoptive parents.

It was morning when Dante heard the vehicles arriving. The roar of the engines stopped simultaneously as the passengers gets down from their rover. Rio brought Incur and two other elderly sorcerers, Primo and Geovanni. The three of them are the most skilled sorcerers among them.As the three of them set foot outside the vehicle, eyes around them started to check on them, sniffing their scent from the air. Incur looks at Rio and he nods to him. Dante gets out of the mansion to meet them. He was wearing his classic Italian grey suit paired with black brogue shoes shined to perfection. Calixto follows up behind him sporting a black leather jacket and a tattered blue denim pants.“Welcome back brother, I hope that you have some good news.
