I snap sitting up straighter

“When he realised the kids were not with her he apparently threw a fit, she said that we had taken them like we told her to say, anyway instead of staying in the room she jumped into his car and now we have no idea what’s going on”

I jumped off drake and went to the stand to the side where my phone lay. We had briefly talked about her changing my name in her phone in case something like this happened, but to get into his car was way off the plan, we can’t keep her safe if we are not by her side.

“What are you doing?”

Drake asks, throwing his legs out of the bed and stretching his arms

“Ringing her”

“No lilly, it might tip him off”

I clear my throat and shake my head

“It won’t I promise”

I press the ring button and I send a silent prayer to heaven hoping she took our hypothetical conversation to heart before she left the hotel room.

It rings twice and then she an
