Let the games begin

My heart is already pounding by the time I exit the back door and there’s no sign of Niki. I am usually calm but right now I am freaking out. Theres too much danger lurking around, Niki could be dead already. Just the thought of that makes my stomach twist into a knot.

The person who killed Jake is still out there and possibly here in Palmland. So is the one who put her on the dark web. Uncle and his men are also around. He always hated the Davi’s and Niki shot him. I can bet my life on the fact that he wants revenge and he would not think twice to get it.

I curse inside when Owen checks in and reports no sign of Niki on the front exit. Our men are now all on board, tracking her phone and checking the cameras around the hotel.

“Her phone is off but she’s on another one. Luca says she walked that way,” I update Owen when he joins me at the back.

“Your woman is sneaky and impossible. I swear I will smack her when we find her.”

Owen continues ranting while I log in to
