“For those of you willing to take AP Calculus,” Mr Mason announced as he walked past desks, handing out the quiz we took yesterday which he had already graded. “I’m the teacher of that subject, if you don’t know, and classes won’t be starting till next week. That’s because I want those of you that have decided to take the subject to think about it for a little while more since I don’t want to be sharing drop forms for students that don’t make the cut a couple of weeks from now.”

The next couple of days passed by in a flurry as Dia, Abigail and I prepared for resumption and finally school had begun. I was both nervous and ecstatic - nervous because I was going to see Tyler again today and ecstatic because I was going to see another one of my best friends, Asia.
