With annoyance in his eyes, he faced me. "About what, Lily? I caught you looking at me the whole time. "What do you want?" I glanced at him, taking a big breath despite the pain in my chest. "Blake, do you remember how we spent all of our free time at your house instead of doing homework, hanging out in the tree house, and having a good old chit-chat?" My heart longs for those days.
