Chapter 40 - Romeo's love letter

Lorena seemed to ignore what Shane was desperately telling her. She approaches Julius and hands him a letter.

- My lord sent this letter to you. If you want, I'll wait for a response.

- Are you waiting for a response? – Shane says. – Are you going back?

- Where would I be if not next to my lord? My place is at my lord's side. I'm his blood slave.

- You can not. – Shane says in a panic, grabbing the girl and forgetting that he was naked.

The girl blushes and looks up. Shane immediately covers himself and blushes.

Julius turns his back to them, indifferent to their feelings, and goes to sit down. With hands shaking, he opens the letter. His heart seemed to want to come out of his mouth and his eyes contained tears that threatened to come out.
