CHAPTER EIGHT

CALEB'S POV

My head felt like it was on fire, the pain relievers I took did nothing to quench the pain. But I maintained a stoic expression.

The girl's screaming had alerted the boys, they had rushed in immediately.

Jerry had gotten mad when he understood the situation, he had managed to give the girl a few punches and kicks before I had screamed at him to leave her alone.

They had gotten a nurse, from a quick pharmacy down the street, to help dress the wound.

The nurse had said I was very lucky, about my brain almost being affected, concussions, bla bla bla.

After the nurse had left, Jerry suggested that we lock up the girl in the storeroom, like we had previously done.

"Tiger, this girl has caused enough damage." Jerry had complained.

I nodded and said nothing.

"I think we should lock her up and cuff her. Every time you try to be civil with her it always backfires."
