Tequila's eyes darted open at the days of sunlight filtering through the open blinds. She stretched out an arm across the bed searching for storm but her hand came back empty.
He wasn't in bed. Her phone pinged, it was Renata, again.
"City, I'm pregnant." The text read and Tequila's eyes flew open as she abruptly sat up against the headboard, all traces of sleepiness leaving her. She texted back.
"How?"
"When?"
"By who?"
"Wtf Renata?!" She texted her, all at once.
Renata seemed to be typing for a long time so she opted for a call instead.
"Let's head over to ours." She suggested to Storm as they sat on the terrace of the hotel, enjoying the view."Let's go." He harried out, excitedly."What's got you so excited?""Nothing." His smile only seemed to widen." Alright..." She raised a teasing brow."C'mon let's get going." He gently pulled her up from the comfortable couch so they could pack up." You're way too eager, it invites me." She laughed."Don't stress about it." He assured them and they were all packed up in a few minutes.
"Is that Maeve?" Tequila's jaw dropped as she saw the sexy lady trailing after a couple who held hands."This wasn't the plan." Storm's jaw dropped and they hurried towards her."Mae." They whisper yelled."Boss. Teq."She glanced at them both before focusing an attention on the couple about to exit the pank."Perfect." Maeve whispered."Guys, parking lot in about ten seconds. " Sh
"So next up on our list, we have Morris Edwards." Storm said to the team. "Portfolio? " Jack said out loud. Morris Edwards, 41, three-time rehab patient, one manslaughter on his record, current location is Jersey, 732-000-0001. "He's been to rehab three times?" Maeve had a confused expression on her face. "You're focusing on the wrong shit man, he has manslaughter on his record amongst other things." Maureen had a teasing look on her face. "Wild." Raymond commented. "Wild?" Bryan mocked. "We're breaking him out of a com
"Boss, I think something happened." Sal and Maureen approached Storm with frightened looks on her face. She met them looking up at the screen. Her fears, coming to life. "Boss?" She hesitated while Teq looked up at her as they all sat in the living room. "Boss, it was an accident!" "Who dropped it?" He looked ticked off. "I did..." Maureen looked agitated. "It was me." Sal spoke up and Storm let out a devilish, angry smirk as he arose from the couch. "I said who dropped the damn phone?!" He booked and Maureen flinched, she'd never seen him angry.
Maeve stormed towards Bryan, pure fury in eyes. "What's up?" He smiled up at her and instantly she sent a slap his way. "What the actual hell?" He stood up from the swivel chair. "Tell me!" She yelled at him. "Tell you what?!" He yelled back. "You and Flores are a thing?!" She screamed at him. "Hush!" He immediately tried to get her to quiet down. "Don't tell me to hush." She threw his fingers off her skin like they burnt her. "Mae."
“I’m really happy I spent the whole of the week with you, I’d miss you.” Tiana kissed Jack as the both of them strolled towards the HH. “I’d miss you more.” Jack confessed. “Me too, now I have to go in and continue my pretense in there. A freaking charade.” “That’s what you do best, your occupation.” He teased and they laughed. “I’ll miss you though.” “Me too baby. I love you.” “Love you most Jackie.” She cooed as she shared one last passionate kiss with him. “Hmm…” he moaned. “Are you sure I can’t get five minutes with
Back at the club’s parking lot“Just talk to him for God’s sake, would you?!” Maeve yelled at Maureen.“Nope.”“Why?!”“Nothing.”“Just tell me why.” She almost begged at this point, already getting frustrated.“It’s nothing.”She immediately knew what was wrong with her sister.“You’re really falling for him?”“Hard.” Mauren said with a stoic expression.“Then why don’t you chill, enjoy it and explore tge happiness that comes with being in love for black Jesus’ sake!”“Because.”“Because?”“Because you know what happens when I choose to fall in love, get emotionally involved. Mae, you know this. I can’t keep hurting everyone that means a lot to me, I wasn’t made to experience love. I can’t feel this way. I jist cant!” Her voice cracked. “I ca
"I'm listening...""I'm skipping my early childhood years and just getting to the main points.""Alright.""I graduated high school at sixteen and at seventeen going on eighteen, my mum decided my brother and I were such a liability to her and her stud since she was separated from my dad. She OD'd one day and her stud decided that was it. He threw us out with her support.""We moved to dad's and it wasn't much better, he was married and they had kids of their own.
