3. One Thirst Trap

Cin's POV

I walked into Lauren's.

"Hey youngie." I gave a smile.

"Who's the young man that dropped you off?"

"No one." I shrugged, slipping my airpods into the case.

"I did hear him scream your name."

"He's no one." I shrugged again, lying lazily on the couch. My torso and one leg were on it while the other was hanging off the couch.

"You're keeping secrets now?" She teased, smirking.

"You need some rest young lady." I changed the subject.

"You don't always need to stay up waiting for me."

"Yes I do." She grinned.

I informed her I'd be away for a while.

"God knows how we'd live without you." She was a tad sad.

"Here." I handed her the envelope.

"A credit card? It's a bad decision."

"It's a debit actually, so you can just make withdrawals from the atm while I'm away." I smiled.

"That's...great, I'd hold on to it."

"I'll be back soon young lady, you won't miss me too much. I just want the twins to be well taken care of."

" Renny would hold on to it, she the more responsible and meticulous one."

"I'm counting on you to ensure they get whatever they need."

"Thank you Cin." She slipped it into her pocket.

" You're welcome."

"Where are the twins?"

"Busy with a puzzle or something else or could probably be asleep."

"We're here." Rey groaned as they walked through the adjoining door.

"Good evening Miss Cin." Ren smiled at me as she collapsed on the couch.

"Just call me Cin."

"And let Nana have my head?" Ren chuckled and Lauren smiled in her seat.

"Lauren, just let them."

"Fine." Lauren frowned for a few seconds before letting out a smile unable to keep it down, this woman was a smiley.

"Every single day is basically almost the same, it's so boring."

"True, you guys need phones. I'd thought about it a few months ago."

"This is why we love you miss Cin."

"Again with the Miss."

"It's Friday tomorrow -well already- it's past midnight. So we'd go to the at&t outlet by 2pm, what phones would you like?"

"Please don't get us the same." Renata rolled her eyes.

"Why?" Rey groaned and she just gave him a resting bitch face.

"They'd fight over the issue. They'd get different ones."

"So which do y'all like?"

"I absolutely love the-"

"You're getting the cheap ones, we can't afford something expensive."

"Don't worry Lauren, the bills are on me?"

"Really?!" They all exclaimed.

"Whatever would we do without you Cin?" Her eyes watered.

"No need for the waterworks, young lady, you're welcome." I smiled.

"The iPhone 11." Rey spoke.

"The iPhone 11 pro." Ren smiled.

"That's all?" I raised a brow.

"Yeah?" They were a tad confused.

"Airpods? Smartwatches?"

"Hell yes Cin!" Rey whistled.

"We'd get them later today." I assured them and they hugged me in return.

"I have to go to bed."

Rey appeared with a small tub filled with casserole.

"No snacks, cup noodles or a granola bar tonight, you're getting skinny." Lauren commented as Rey handed the tub to me.

"Got it, goodnight." I waved.

"Night Cin." They chorused and I shut the door behind me, walking across the corridor to my apartment.

The future didn't look so bleak anymore. The proposal was a worthwhile gig.

I dropped the casserole atop the table, strolling to my room.

I slid the drawer open and grabbed my two favorite toys, the silent bullet vibrator and my playboy dildo, it was time for mama to get some action.

Friday Night

I'd dropped my final dance on that stage and it was fire.

"You're sure you have to go?" Ms Emily, the owner of the club asked me for the umpteenth time.

"Yes Em. But I'd give you someone as good as I am." I smiled.

"Could anyone ever replace you?" She gave a sad smile.

"I'd miss you guys and I'll miss working here." I smiled at her.

"Here's her contact, her name's Rue, tell her you're from Glam, she'd be happy to work with you."

"At least, agree to the sendforth party." She pleaded.

"Don't bother Em, I leave tomorrow." I grinned.

"Thanks for everything Glam, we'd definitely miss you." She pulled me into a hug before stalking off.

Two more things to do before saying my final goodbye.

I walked into Larry's office and he let out a sad smile.

"Leaving huh?"

"It's important. 70500."

"Sure." He computed the percentage off and I handed it to him before tucking mine into my bag making a mental note to deposit it into my savings account.

"I'd miss you." He said as I zipped my  bag close.

His shirt was rolled up to his elbows and his slacks never looked better on him.

"Larry?"

"Yeah." He smiled.

"Get the door."I winked and he rushed to it, locking it shut and switching the bright lights to something dimmer.

Smart move.

"Shut." He swallowed.

I took off my jacket, I was clad in just nipple tapes and a thong alongside my heels. I hadn't stopped by the dressing room to grab my clothes yet.

His pupils dilated as his eyes raked my body, I motioned him over with a finger and he was right in front of me at the speed of light.

"Glam." He whispered.

"Roxy." I smiled up at him and he grinned.

My middle name was Roxanne.

"Roxy." He spoke seductively in his deep, velvety baritone voice.

"Sit." I ordered and he did in the swivel chair, looking right up at me on the table.

I made the move and we delved into the deed.

"Larry!"

"Roxy!"

"It was definitely worth the wait." His chest vibrated as he spoke and I looked up at him.

"Woah!" He was excited as he held my face in his hands. I blushed slightly.

"You're mad pretty." He kissed my nose, forehead, lips and every other part of my face.

I got dressed and I slipped my mask back on. I looked through my bag and grabbed a spare one. It was my signature item, I designed them myself.

"I guess it's goodbye." I smiled up at his now-dressed form and he nodded.

"Take care of yourself."

"Be back soon. I love you." He said the three words.

"Sure thing. Thanks." I slipped the mask into his hand before bolting out of the room, stark naked under my coat.

I got dressed and packed my stuff into my bag and a cardboard box. I looked back at the now empty space and I smiled, nostalgia taking over.

I walked towards the bus stop.

"Your ride awaits." The signature black car pulled up and I grinned as I got in, dropping my stuff at the back.

I slipped my airpods in and looked out the window throughout the whole ride.

I was sure he took note of the fact that I didn't want to be disturbed.

The memory of Larry and I occasionally bringing butterflies to my stomach and shy smiles to my face. I still couldn't believe he said the three words.

"Thanks. Goodnight." I waved at him.

Saturday

"You did keep to my game of trust. So if I get this straight, you want to get revenge on fifteen people?" I raised a brow.

"Yes and you're one of the best hitmen I learned about, and to get some of these people, you have some special skills set alongside your knowledge of kinks and exotic dancing." He cleared his throat as he spoke in a whisper.

"Okay, hit me up when we're ready to go into motion." I was ready to leave the conversation.

"That's the thing, you have to be away for over two months, well, till the whole mission is completed." He explained and I let out a chuckle.

"You're kidding me right?"

"No..."

"Fine. First off, I want my payment in six installments and the first one has to be received a week into it."

"Fine."

"Hold on while I speak to the sweet young lady and the twins." I pulled myself off the car and trudged into the store.

"Lauren?"

"Over here." She motioned me over and I took a seat.

"I'd be going away today for s short while though but I'll b-"

"Enjoy your romantic getaway. Trust me, it pleases me more than it does you." She grinned.

"He's a handsome one, I see you're into bad boys aren't you?" She cooed.

"Argh." I comment.

"No need to be surprised, I was too, your Mr Lennon was the bad boy at our high school. Our love story, it was the perfect good girl and bad boy story."

"Great. I need to pack a bag and inform the twins." I smiled, excusing myself as I got into the car, to pack a bag back at the apartment.

"Hold on." I said to him as I hurried into the house.

I grabbed a small bag and stuffed some clothes into it.

Few trousers.

Few blouses.

A couple gowns.

One thirst trap.

Footwears.

And last but not the least, my toys.

Done.

I locked my doors and rushed out of the house, getting into the car and dumping my duffel bag on the backseat.

"Come on..."

"You don't even know anything about me. Not even my name." He chuckled and it dawned on me.

"Well, out it with."

"Storm." He said and I laughed my heart out.

"You sure it's not rain or lightning?" I laughed even harder.

"It's h-"

"No! No! I got it! It's Thor." I laughed even harder.

"Come on it's funny." I defended myself.

"I don't even think you have much leverage bro, I mean, you're named after a city." He smirked.

"Low blow asshole."I chuckled, flipping him the finger.

"I think we'd get along just fine." I grinned as he sped down the road to the store.

" So you're leaving for how long?" Ren frowned.

"Two months at the very least." I smiled.

"Why?"

"To work and earn money. Y'all would need to go to college soon." I smiled weakly.

"Thanks for everything." She embraced me.

"Here." I folded something into her pocket.

"What's that?" She whispered.

"Rey is a knuckle head and your Nana is well, a Nana. That's one grand for emergencies or anything. Don't tell anyone."

"Thanks Cin." She pulled me into a hug, unable to hold back her tears.

"I know how annoying they both can be, so here's the key to my apartment if you need some privacy or a breather." I slipped it into her hand.

"Thank you so much." Her eyes watered again.

"Hey, it's okay." I wiped the stray tear with the pad of my thumb.

"I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you more."

"And me most." Rey appeared from behind her joining the hug.

"Here, that's for emergencies and it's for you both." I handed him five hundred dollars before throwing Ren a wink and she smiled in return.

"Great so that's a whopping 270 for me and 230 for her."

"I'm the older twin you know." She rolled her eyes.

"Fine, it's equal then. Bully." He rolled his eyes.

"We'd miss you Cin." They hugged me once again before Storm pulled up.

"Woah is that your dude, sweet wheels." They fanned over the car as they approached Storm giving the opportunity to go speak with Lauren.

"I see your cutie is here." She cooed.

"He's not my- nevermind. I'm leaving already. I made a deposit of thirty grand into the account yesterday."

"Woah! Thirty what?"

"The pin to the card is 0306. In case the money runs out, you can reach me."

"I don't think there's going to be any running out soon darling." She looked up at me.

"I would miss your grouchy ass."

"Language! No cussing young lady." I waved a finger and we laughed.

"I'll miss you too, take care of yourself young lady."

I walked out of the store.

"Will do." She called out.

I shut the door as I hopped into the car giving one last look to the store before alighting again and running right back into the store.

I pulled Lauren into a hug before pecking her cheeks.

"I'll miss you." She held onto me.

"Me too."

"You'd better stay alive and well for me young lady. I'll be home soon."

"Will do, now run along. Your man candy is waiting." We shared a laugh.

"I love you." She called out.

"I love you too."

"Bye Cin. We love you."

"Love you guys." I shouted to the twins before boarding the vehicle.

I wound open the window down and I waved to them till they were out of my sight.

"They really love you." Storm grinned looking a little tired.

"You bet. Where're we headed?"

"Outskirts of NYU. It's almost off the map."

"This is going to be a long ride." I smiled.

"We'd get to know each other."

"Put a pin in that."
