When I was finished talking, Yohan was looking down, staring at his hands.
It irked me, that he made me finish talking about my great adventure, but not once did he compliment my achievement more. I understand that it’s not out of the ordinary, what I did. However, there was some stupid part of me that wanted to get some recognition from him. A small part of me that was desperately clinging to that small praise he gave me when he was surprised that I managed to tie a big guy up with only using my own strength. And there was another part of me, that one that was a bit more mature than the one that wanted recognition. That part was screaming inside my brain that I should just relax, keep quiet, and calm down.

✾ Colorful tents of different colors and sizes could be seen from a distance. When I squint my eyes, they looked like a poorly drawn painting that was sold at a discounted price.
