Fifty-Two

Leelie's words have been playing in the back of my head over and over again. Arthur is selling wolves to the vampires. The only way he could be delivering is through the Northern regions. Vampires wouldn't survive the ferals and Shadows that live anywhere else. The abandoned pack lands are the only place I can think of for an exchange. Which brings me back to the basement.

Jet looks comfortable in his cell. Leelie set him up. He's reading a book and I know he knows I'm standing here, but he's refusing to acknowledge me. Leelie has a hard time getting him to say anything to her. It makes Jaykob angry because he wants nothing more than for Leelie to force him to mark her, but Jet has a special skill. One that Arthur has been nurturing since he was a boy. Patience. Me too, but my patience lies in my favorite thing to do. Pissing people off.

I want to know how far I must go to get him to talk, but Jayk wants answers now and he asked me so nicely.
