Etizia’s Point of View
As soon as I woke up, I quickly scanned my surroundings. It seemed like I was still in the same room where I had spent the night with my Alpha, Nox.
"But where is Nox?" I wondered aloud.
Startled, I tried to get up but immediately felt the pain pulsating through my body, causing me to collapse back onto the bed.
"Ouch, I'm bruised," I muttered with a hint of disappointment. I lifted the hem of my dress to inspect my waist, only to find a blue bruise where Nox had gripped me last night.
Surprisingly, aside from the bruising and the throbbing sensation, I didn't feel any other pain. My head felt surprisingly clear and refreshed.
Determined to find some answers, I mustered the strength to get up from the bed and cautiously made my way through the room.
