Chapter 7 A Star

Amelia swallowed her wrath and walked slowly toward the crowd.

She heard the project manager say, "Ms. Summers, Mr. Yale arrived on time, and his makeup was even done already, but you … He's done with his part, and he waited for you for half an hour."

"He left because you didn't come and said that you could shoot your part first. He'll come back soon for the part involving the two of you," explained the manager.

"Should we do your makeup for you first?"

Alas, Ava acted as if she didn't hear any of them. It was as though she wanted to make things difficult for them.

"What's this? It looks like shit! How am I supposed to eat it?" She yelled in their faces. "Just looking at it makes me feel like puking."

After she finished complaining, she kicked the new products that were displayed, as if looking down on them.
