Family reunion

Olivia was nervous as she fiddled with her hands. She spent the entire night staring at the stars. She couldn't get any shut eyes, no matter how hard she tried. Not only that, but she was unable to imagine her parents weren't dead.

The entire time, Marcos was telling her everything that happened that night. Tears filled her eyes, her heart twisted in agony. She had never felt so miserable, so alone. For a year and a half. She had lived mourning her parents. Crying over their death. She was eager to see her little brother. That childish boy had been hiding well.

She couldn't wait to hear her mom's nagging and her dad's scolding. Throughout the drive, Olivia kept practicing what she was going to say. How she was going to apologize to her parents.

It was her fault, she brought Luciano into their lives, and he betrayed her. Of what Marcos told her, Luciano indeed knew about her parents. The text message he sent her inviting her for lunch was true.

“Relax. I told them we were coming…no need
