His dangerous world

The exchanging of gunshots echoed in the air like deafening missiles firing. Two men stood in front of her, shielding her and Pedro while the others exchanged gunshots with the people who wanted to harm Pedro.

Olivia shouted at the top of her voice and gathered Pedro in her arms, he was bleeding.

“I-I'm fine…damn it, I'm fine,” Pedro regained his wits and said breathlessly while trying to get up. Olivia shoved him down and started inspecting him.

“We need an ambulance…you are hurt,” Olivia stammered nervously, everything happened so fast that she couldn't think. At that point, she took Pedro's gun and started shooting back at whoever was trying to hurt them. But Pedro's men showed her just in time to take over.

“That son of a bitch…let me…” Pedro growled and attempted to stand, but he fell back down.

“Your arm is hurt…stay still,” Olivia coaxed, noticing his left arm was the one bleeding. Pedro gritted his teeth and tried everything to ignore the pain, unfortunately, he couldn't.
