CHAPTER 102

AUTHOR'S POV:

In a slightly but stylishly decorated room, a fire was lit in one corner to warm up the room. Damien took his seat a little distance from the fire to keep war.

Audrey was beside him, dabbing at his wound with medicine.

"What is going on, Audrey? Who was that man I saw you with the other day?" Damien asked Audrey, narrowing his eyes at her.

He saw the way he looked at her, and that was why he had almost felt disappointed in Audrey, but now he was doubting his decision to believe Audrey because of who she was.

"Huh, a man, did you see me with a man?" Audrey either pretended to be confused or did not know what he was talking about.
