"What's happening? You can't just lash out at me all the time. Come on Audrey, I didn't give birth to the devil, it's just you who's refused to accept the truth." She paused for a while and I tried my best not to say a word because I didn't want to lose it completely.

"You know, I came here to say I'm sorry. It isn't anyone's fault that Diana died, and I'm sorry too because she was your servant, you must be missing her right now." I gazed into Audrey's face for the first time since we were up close. I hadn't been looking into her eyes all the while, and I was shocked when I saw her passing me a mocking smile.

My eyes blazed and I told myself that even though I wanted to hold back before, I wasn't going to do that anymore.
