CHAPTER 173

AUTHOR'S POV:

The night cold made Ava rub her arm as she wondered what next to do. Then again, the lights came on and she almost fidgeted. The dog continued barking too and so, Leo pulled out a gun and shit at it - his first kill.

A certain door opened and a security man nearly staggered out. "What's with all that noise." He squinted his eyes, probably oblivious to whoever was trying to disturb his precious sleep.

Immediately, Ava rounded up to his side and gave him a blow that connected from his neck to his jaw, causing him to pass out.

Ava breathed in a sigh of relief. The first obstacle was gone.

They both stared at the open door where the security man had just come out from. After which they began walking in that direction. But then, Leo stopped and bent down, searching the man's pocket, because he reasoned that there might be keys in this man's pocket.
