Steadily tapping my foot on the floor, I looked around the place. The Equators surrounded us.

I knew they would find out that we didn't kill the lady in the house, despite that we had emptied the bullets.

Perhaps, that was the reason they called us here. To tell us that we have failed in the first assignment that was given to us.

"Congratulations. Your mission was successfully accomplished." Drake was the first to speak and draw up a smile on his face. He walked up to Leo and brought out his handshake but Leo silently reclined while giving Drake a menacing glare.

"Get straight to the point and tell us why we are here," Leo said.

"Right. Right..." Drake chuckled and I wondered why he stopped chuckling all too suddenly.

"If you thought we would not know that you didn't kill the woman, then you must be thinking lowly of us. But here's the point, I congratulated you because you passed the test of loyalty." Drake's face suddenly became serious. The rate at which his facial expression
