The moment Ava left Diana, tears slid down her cheeks. Although Diana felt consoled, she felt like Ava didn't really understand her.

Those encouraging words hit really good and hard, but right now, she was overthinking everything.

Diana thought that maybe, her boyfriend, one of the pack warriors might have left her alone because she wasn't as rich as the other woman.

Diana had this conviction in her heart that her doting boyfriend jilting her, had something to do with this class or calibre thing, whatever it was called.

Diana was so sure he loved her but perhaps, when he found someone who was better, he chose the better. Once the mind found something better, it didn't usually rest till it had possessed it.
