The revelation

After Jason was done preparing lunch for the family, Cassy helped him carry the dishes to the dining table and arranging cutlery.

When everyone was settled, Jason served his father in-law first before serving the rest.

Mrs Parker could feel her heart ache for the guy. He was so obedient and lovable. She couldn't tell why her husband Insisted on making things hard for him. But she could atleast relate.

He was here to seek permission to be with their daughter. Her husband has always been protective of their daughter and would never allow just anyone to be with Cassy.

" Thank you son." She thanked him after he served her.

Cassy watched as Jason toiled to earn her parents approval. For a man cold like him, she didn't expect him to do all these for their approval.

Deep inside, she was happy. His tolerance of her father's bad temper and tantrums showed that she was someone he valued. Someone he was ready to work hard for.
