SIXTY FOUR

Marienne was about deepening the kiss when he pulled away from her, standing on his two feet while she kept seating on the bed.

"How on earth did you know I was here?" He asked after pacing about for a while.

"I.....I followed you" She confessed.

"I had no choice, I didn't trust you not to try to do some thing bad and so I followed you" she added.

"You must really have a lot of time in your hands right?" He asked starring down at her.

"It's not that I...." She stopped when he pulled out his phone to call some one.

"How come a maid of mine is roaming around the streets with out a thing to do?" He asked and she knew with out him telling her that he was talking to the head maid.

"Keep her busy then,if she has to do all the chores in that house then so be it. Just keep her busy, I hate seeing her doing nothing when I pay her salary" he barked into his phone and a while later, he ended the call.

"But you don't pay me salary" she said the first thing that came to mind.
