CHAPTER 103

I hate being on periods. It’s the next thing close to hell a lady passes through every single month. Like a tiny reminder that we’ve got a grudge with nature by not bearing fruits and ‘multiplying’ an already filled up earth.

I roll my eyes. Being pregnant is no different. I have seen a lot of pregnant ladies and I have to say I’m not the least interested in going through that. At least, not so soon, so for now, periods you’re my new best friend.

Just for the five days at least. After then, I hate you.

I’m walking down the hall leading out of my department. I’m done with classes today and can’t wait to head to my dorm. I’m starving. I need to grab a meal first then shower, eat, study and sleep.

My stomach still cramps really badly but these pain killers are helping me a great deal. I dip my hand inside my bag to bring out my phone. I don’t know if it’s just me or everyone gets uncomfortable when walking without their phone in hand, even though the
