Chapter Eighty-Eight

When I returned to the pack house, everywhere was in chaos. Poor people, they are looking for someone they will never find. No matter how long and deep they search for Amber, they will not find her. She is beyond their reach. I saw Logan heading towards his car and I rushed up to him. He's with his father, Jake and Amber's father. They look like people hurrying somewhere. Of course they are. I wonder where they want to go and look for Amber. I need to find out.

“Logan, I heard what happened to Amber. If there's any way I could help, you can tell me,” I said with my fake polite voice and innocent face.

Logan gave me a weak smile. “I appreciate Kiara, but the only way you can help me is to go back to your room and stay safe,” he said and tried to walk away but I stopped him.

“Where are you going? Have you found any leads?”

“Not really, but don't worry. I will find Amber.” he replied and entered the car. I watched as the two cars drove away.
