He Shouldn't Have.

Summer's POV.

Not bothering to wait for Alpha Alexander to finish preparing the car for departure, I promptly darted into the mansion.

The urgency of the situation propelled me, and I wasted no time in making my way towards it.

My son was in danger, he was dying and I couldn't let that happen. Not now, not ever.

"Please honey, stay for me, stay for Mommy!" I cried softly as I got to the doors of the mansion.

Swinging the door open, I couldn't help but be taken aback by the sight of who and what awaited me inside the mansion.

He was gracefully standing before me, his back turned against me as he stared at the pictures of Alpha Alexander on the wall.

I wasn't ready to draw conclusions just yet, but as I took a step closer, my presence in the mansion didn't go unnoticed.

When he turned, my gaze met none other than Jordan Michael; the werewolf who had saved me on that fateful night when I had fled from the pack.
